2026 BITS Referee Program

Current and former BITS Players, 7th-12th grade, can register to be a game referee. Depending on experience, commitment and and performance, referees can expect to have between 1-3 games each Saturday.

2026 TOPSoccer Buddies / Coaches (Volunteer)

TOPSoccer is a community based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl with special needs. A TOPS BUDDY is a volunteer who is 13 + years old who is paired with a player to help them during each session. Volunteer hour letters are provided at the end of the season.

Obligations of each TOPS Volunteer (Buddy or Coach)
  • Each volunteer must participate in a online course with NJYS (free) to be a certified buddy/ coach. This course is only required once, lifetime certification. This course will be announced and emailed to all buddies who need certification by the end of July/ beginning of August.
  • Any Buddy 18+ must participate in NJYS Safe Sport virtual course (FREE) each season, and agree to let BITS conduct a background check.
  • Buddies are responsible for notifying our Buddy coordinator by Tuesday, before each Saturday session, of their availability for that week.

2026 TOPSoccer PLAYER Registration (Special Needs)

TOPSoccer is a community based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl with special needs. The emphasis of this program is on development, training, and meaningful participation rather than on competition. Our goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage, and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer.

THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR TOPSoccer (Special Needs Players) only. For all other divisions, including our BITS General Registration, Referee Program, and TOPS Buddies, please go BACK to our main registration page.

2026 BITS RECREATION Registration

Welcome to the 2026 Branchburg In-Town Soccer Fall Recreation Season!

BITS is proud to welcome both new and returning players for another season at White Oak Park. We offer programs ranging from Pre-K to 9th grade in our main recreation program.
(If you are looking to register for our TOPSoccer Special Needs Program, our TOPS Buddy Program, or to be a referee, those are separate registration forms).

There are a few changes to divisions this season that we think will benefit the kids. Please read all the info about the divisions you are registering for.

Our 2025 Season Runs September 12th thru November 14th.

Divisional Programs for BITS Include:
  • PRE-K (Game time 9am Saturday)
  • This introductory program is for children who are 3-6 years old, and not yet enrolled in a Kindergarten program.
  • Players will work with our trainers in small groups, to learn foundational skills and teamwork, in a fun environment!
  • All Pre-K players must be 3 by 9/1/25 in order to register

  • Kindergarten - 1st Grade (Game time 10:45 Saturday)
  • This program is for children who are in Kindergarten or 1st Grade for the 2026-2027 School Year
  • Program will be run by a combination of our trainers, and volunteer parent coaches
  • Children will start the season with drills, and move to a scrimmage / game format by the end of the season
  • Players will start to learn positioning, field rules, movement up and down the field, and sideline awareness.
  • VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR THIS DIVISION, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO COACH

  • 2nd - 3rd Grade (Game Time 12:30pm Saturday, Monday evening clinics)
  • There are both COED and GIRLS Divisions in this age bracket, for children in 2nd or 3rd Grade for the 2026-2027 School Year
  • Saturday games are run by volunteer parent coaches
  • Monday night trainings are run by our trainers (Schedule TBD)
  • Additional weekly practices are at Coaches discretion
  • VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR THIS DIVISION, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO COACH

  • 4th - 6th Grade (Game Time 10:45am Saturday, Monday evening clinics) - 6th Graders encouraged to play both games
  • There are both COED and GIRLS Divisions in this age bracket, for children in 4th through 6th Grade for the 2026-2027 School Year
  • Saturday games are run by volunteer parent coaches
  • Monday night trainings are run by our trainers (Schedule TBD)
  • Additional weekly practices are at Coaches discretion
  • VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR THIS DIVISION, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO COACH

  • 6th-9th Grade (Game Time 9am Saturday, Monday evening scrimmage) - 6th Graders encouraged to play both games
  • This is a combined program for ALL PLAYERS in this age bracket, for children in 6th through 9th Grade for the 2026-2027 School Year
  • Saturday games are run by volunteer parent coaches
  • Practice Schedule TBD
  • VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR THIS DIVISION, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO COACH
